Thanks!
Another great year!
I loved reading your final stories and reading through the altered books. Great work.
Have an amazing summer, and I will see you next year.

Alt. Book Requirements:
15 pieces of writing (5-10 org., including your This I Believe Essay) on your theme
Illustrations
AutobiographyPoetry: 10 org. pieces, with illustrations
Prose/Essay: 5 org. pieces, with illustrations
IF… you choose to combine the poetry/essay elements of the final with your Altered book, you will simply add the number of assignments to the altered book.
Your assignment today is to add THREE pieces of org. writing to your blogs.
If you are drawing blanks, here are a couple sites that have Creative Writing Prompts:
http://www.creativewritingprompts.com/
http://www.writersdigest.com/writingprompts.asp?goto=closead
http://languageisavirus.com/writing_prompts.html
http://www.oncewritten.com/FreeCreativeWritingPrompts.php
The main page of this site is mainly for assignments and announcements, but it’s only fair that I post my writing too!
So…. You can get to my writing if you look under “Pages” (in the upper right corner).
Your pages are looking pretty good, I can’t wait to read your writing!

Grading for the blogs:
I’m looking to see FIVE entries that are some form of creative writing (poetry, prose, essays, etc.) by the end of the six-weeks. An entry must have at least 10 lines (or 150 words) to count. Longer essays will count for two entries, shorter entries will count for half of a post.
